I think the next new type of new media will be an evolution of virtual
reality. There could be a virtual reality game in the future where you put on a
helmet and step into a virtual world. The player would experience more senses
and be more connected to the technology of the game. In this way, the game(s)
could become much more like reality. We see this type of virtual reality gaming
in movies and television shows often. It doesn’t seem too farfetched to develop
this kind of game in the future.
Its incredible how far we have come from the days of playing nintendo, but everyone is still waiting for the day where we do where helmets and it makes us feel like we are actually in the game. The wii we the first system to get you physically involved in the game which I believe is a step in the right direction. Well see how the xbox one and the playstation 4 bring us closer to virtually reality being more realistic.
ReplyDeleteI could see this happening in the near future. Just look at the game consoles that are sold today, we are pretty much one step away from being able to virtually enter the game. I think it would be great if this happens sooner than later, because I for one have been waiting for the day that this happens. We been brought up watching tv shows and movies about these things, but to experience it in reality would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteIt would be so exciting to play Call of Duty in real life experience. Player would get the feel every moment in a war zone. It will attract a lot of consumers. Great idea
